Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle es un MMORPG ambientado en las tierras de Aden con anterioridad al juego Lineage: The Blood Pledge.

¿Qué son los chronicles?
Las Crónicas son expansiones del juego Lineage II. A diferencia de otros MMORPGs, las Crónicas son completamente gratis, y pueden ser bajadas mediante el actualizador automático una vez que están disponibles. Así pues, si te compras o bajas una versión antigua del juego, tendrás que esperar hasta haber descargado todas las expansiones. Actualmente, Lineage II está en su Crónica 4, saliendo la 5. NCSoft ha declarado que su intención es hacer 12 Crónicas del juego, y que dichas crónicas saldrán a un ritmo de dos por año.

¿Qué razas hay?
Puedes jugar como Orco, Enano, Elfo, Elfo Oscuro o Humano. Cada una de estas razas tiene sus puntos fuertes y débiles. De todas ellas, solamente los Elfos y los Elfos Oscuros comienzan su andadura en tierra firme de Aden. Los Orcos y los Enanos empiezan en Elmore y deben teletransportarse a Aden, mientras que los humanos empiezan en Talking Island.
